Wing Fort House
The Wing Fort House is the oldest house in New England built and occupied by the same family for over three centuries. Originally built circa 1641 as a single cell dwelling, it was purchased by Stephen Wing in 1646 and his descendants added to its footprint, culminating in the present two-story colonial house. The Wing Family of America purchased the Fort House from the last descendant Cora Wing in 1946. The Fort House has been open to the public for tours since.

The museum is dedicated to sharing the stories of nearly 400 years of Wing descendants as they migrated across America. Featuring rotating special exhibits and the permanent Simon Wing photographic collection, the museum also serves as WFA's genealogical library & gift shop.
