Reunion Schedule

Historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is the destination for the 2025 Wing Family Reunion. Our annual gathering will be held on the campus of Gettysburg College, which will provide housing, meals and meeting places. Our family gathering in this little oasis will be convenient, inexpensive, and fun.

Gettysburg is a bustling town of 8,000 in the summer months. That’s when most of the more than a million visitors come to see the Civil War battlefield that took its name. Abraham Lincoln’s plea for national unity – The Gettysburg Address – was delivered at what is now a national cemetery.

At our reunion, we will learn about our research into those Wings who were at Gettysburg. Our banquet speaker, Scott Mingus, is the author of three dozen non-fiction Civil War books. He promises to tell some of the best human-interest stories of the Gettysburg Campaign. During our stay, we will also make time for private or group tours of the battlefield with expert guides.

12:30-2:00 pm                    Lunch with breakout sessions available with districts & genealogist
4:30-5:30 pm                      WFA Annual Banquet Check-in at The Atrium. Family photos at 5:30p.
6:00-8:30 pm                     WFA Annual Banquet at the Atrium with Guest Speaker Scott Mingus.
