Reunion Schedule

WING FAMILY OF AMERICA 2025 REUNION
GETTYSBURG COLLEGE, GETTYSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA
June 20, 2025 – June 22, 2025

Historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is your destination for the 2025 Wing Family Reunion. The gathering will be held on the campus of Gettysburg College, including the registration, board meetings, meals and housing. Our little oasis will be convenient, inexpensive, and fun. Brand-named hotels and restaurants are plentiful away from the campus, if that’s what you prefer. But we hope everyone will stay together. Since we are going to college, we’ll learn from experts about the Civil War and the Wings on both sides of the conflict. And, you can join your cousins on a private tour of the Gettysburg battlefield. Here is the schedule:

Thursday, June 19th (Note: Juneteenth is a federal holiday) (all times are EDT)

4:00-6:00 pm:   Early Check-in, College Union Building (CUB), Main Lobby, W. Lincoln & College Ave.
                                                           Find reserved parking spaces on Lincoln Ave. in front of the CUB.

6:00–8:00 pm:  Early Bird Dinner:  location TBD

Friday, June 20th

Beginning at 9:00 am:    Check-in & Continental Breakfast– College Union Building, Main Lobby
10:00 am-12:00 pm:        WFA Board Meeting will be held in the College Union Building. Live on Zoom.
12:30–2:00 pm:                 Lunch with Breakout Sessions available with districts, genealogist, etc. (CUB)

4:30–5:30 pm:                  WFA Annual Dinner Check-in at The Atrium. Family photos at 5:30p.
6:00–8:30pm:                   WFA Annual Dinner at The Atrium with Guest Speaker
                                           Ice Cream on the patio after dinner

Saturday, June 21st

Beginning at 9:00 am:    Check-in and Continental Breakfast - Student Union Building, Main Lobby
10:00–11:30 am;               Annual Membership Meeting – will be held in the Student Union Building
11:45 am:                             Brief Board Meeting immediately following the membership meeting.
12:30 pm:                           Pick-up boxed lunches – location to be announced
1:00–4:00 pm:                  Private Gettysburg Battlefield Tour – Expert Guide, air-conditioned bus.

Sunday, June 22nd

9:00– 11:00 am:               Continental Breakfast & farewell

Gettysburg is a bustling city of 8,000 people in southern Pennsylvania. Tourism is its largest industry, given its proximity to the Civil War battlefield that took its name. Abraham Lincoln’s plea for national unity – The Gettysburg Address – was delivered at what is now a national cemetery.
