Hi,
I just found your website and can't wait to look it over more thoroughly. I am a descendant of John & Deborah Wing through their son John, grandson Annias. g. grandson John, gg granddaughter Sarah Wing who married Lemuel Crosby.

Hello Family!
We are John B. Wing and wife, Resa Wing. Brother is Stephen Wing and sister Christine. Decendants of John Wing and Deborah Batchelor.
What fun to discover the connection to Sam Adams(3rd cousin-8 times removed) --- as John was one of the original investors in Sam Adams beer! The founder of the company (Jim Koch) was the most blown away by the cooincidence.

Hi Wing Family,
I'm a Wing descendant through Sarah Wing (1730) and Lemuel Crosby of Nova Scotia. There are more Crosbys who are Wing descendants whom you don't have in the data base.
I learned that the item on the Wing family shield is a "maunch," which is an old-fashioned sleeve, and not a wing, although there are wings above the shield.
I would like to find more details about the lives of the early Wing Family members. |

| Years ago I was able to trace my family back to the early settlers. Well the records are now missing and most of my family has passed. I am the granddaughter of Charles Boardman Wing. His parents were Charles Joseph Wing and Emily M. Wing. I currently live in the Wing family home in Melrose, MA with my mother and son. We are respectively the 3rd, 4th, and 5th generation in this family home. My grandfather had two sisters. Helen Wing (Fletcher) Rhoades and Doris Wing Landers (Doris lived in Pocasset. I was hoping that I might find the missing piece of our family history here. I was at the fort many years ago and thought it was beautiful. Thanks |

Hi, My husband and I went to the Wing house on July 12. What a beautiful place. We knew it would be closed, but since we had made other plans for the 13th and then fly back home on the 14th. I am descended from Deborah and John Wing through Desire Wing, dtr of John Wing and Martha Spooner. Desire married Phineas Chase Jul 17 1719 in rochester, Plymouth, MA .
I am happy to see the next reunion will be in Chattanooga TN in 2011 as I lived in Wildwood GA in the early 80's. Looking forward to joining the association.
I want to state that we were very impressed by the upkeep of the home and we looked in some of the windows. Am disappointed it was closed that day, but I understand. I have a brother and sister who have a total of 9 children and are great grand parents and I am a great grandma of 2 so there are more Wing descendants just from my Father, Francis H. Hatcher. He had 2 half siblings from their mother Mary Lida Brown. She is descended from the Bachilor, Wing, Chase, Knapp, Wardwell(from Samuel Wardwell, hung as witch in Salem), and Nehamiah Brown of Cheshire Co, NH  |
