I am a descendant of Deborah Wing (1750-1825), daughter of Jabez Savory Wing (1728-1820). I am currently trying to build my tree but I am finding conflicting information on Jabez? Different wife names, as well as parents. Any help you can give me would be GREATLY appreciated.

I am busily researching my family tree and the Wing family figures prominently in my history. I am the grandson of Clifford L. Jewett who, I believe, was a member of the Wing Family of America.

I would love to connect with family, members. I have visited the Wing Fort House and it was quite a spiritual overwhelming experience. My aunt Patt Pratt from Zore Valley NY and she was working on the family tree book back in 1977.

I have no known genealogical connections to the Wing family, but I am very interested in knowing more about George W Wing. He befriended the Potawatomi elder, Simon Kahquados, during his work with the Kewaunee Historical Society, which he founded. His research was outstanding and there are many articles which he wrote about the history of his area, as well as some very deep analysis of the history of Wisconsin's early history. I only know of one book of his, which is a collection of his articles known as "One Man's Memories" which has been very helpful in research I have been doing on the Potawatomi people and their occupation of Door and Kewaunee counties. Any summary of his personal life would be most welcome!

Just found out through my researching, that Rev. John Wing is my 11th great-grandfather. And descendents are through Daniel Wing, to Deborah Wing, who married William Dungan.
