Our Eleventh District Representative is Anna Joy Watts, WFA member, of Lehi, Utah.
I found her biography in the 2005 edition of the OWL, page 5757.
Her biography says that her parents are Ronald Thomas and Jenalyn Wing Woffinden.

When Anna was thirteen years old, one of the grand aunts introduced her to genealogy research and family history.
She had been doing it ever since, and has published four books of family history and genealogy
- one for each of her grandparents and their ancestral lines. She now has to finish her parent's
and her children's scrapbooks and histories.

After graduating from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah,
she taught in secondary schools in Utah and Southern California for twelve years.
(Homemaking ED, Music Ed, and Choirs, American History, and Girls Physical Ed).

She married Donald A. Watts and they were blessed with three exceptional children;
Wendy Verlyn, Donald Thomas, and Nathan Edward. Their married children have given them five grandsons
with another grandchild on the way.

After her children were raised, Anna Joy again taught school for a few years and then
retired to enjoy her grandchildren and to organize
family reunions for both her Wing and Woffinden relatives. She has been a member of the WFA for many years,
and has attended a National Reunion at Cape Cod once accompanied by her daughter.

Anna's Wing lineage is Stephen Wing & Sarah Briggs

According the the latest OWL, District Rep, Anna Watts will be sending out a questionaire regarding a reunion of District Eleven at Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Rocky Mountain Wings celebrated their 50th Reunion according to the latest OWl. They all met at the home of Lonnie and Darlene Wing in Arvada, Colorado. Attendees were descendants of Merl Wing who lived in Olathe, Colorado. Merl had ten children. of the five still living, three were present among over fifty people in attendance. Before the meeting they all enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by the hosts.

The meeting was called to order at 1:55 PM by President, Tony Clements. Secretary, Teresa Crowner was not in attendance so the minutes were read and taken by her mother, Linda Clements. Last year's minutese were read and correctd.

Old Busines...Kathy Wing reported on the updating to their Wing genealogy, which she has been working on. She will work with Jerry Wing on adding new information to what has already been completed. As there was no official new business, attendees updated everyone on new events in their families. The hat was passed for donations, given to the hosts for their work in providing the family with the delicious lunch.

Elections for next years officers was held. The new officers are: Ray Felzien, President; Lean Wing, Secretary and Linda clements, Treasurer.

The auction was held for a various number of items, resulting in over $300 raised to be sent to the Wing Fort House Fund.
